Bush The Thief

The United States is toughening Canadian border inspections and imposing new levies on air travelers and commercial shippers from Canada to try to prevent bioterrorism and the spread of disease and pests.

The U.S. Agriculture Department decision to levy a surcharge after November 24 to pay for an expansion of border inspections met with outrage from Canadian lawmakers and trade groups who fear it will discourage air travelers and make Canadian goods less competitive.

"Our current dearth of inspection activity at that border could potentially leave the United States vulnerable to bioterrorism," the USDA said in a August 25 statement.

Canada's main opposition party, the Liberals, called the new inspection measures "protectionist" and urged Prime Minister Stephen Harper to formally complain to Washington.

"This is pure and simple trade protectionism under the guise of health inspection," said Wayne Easter, a Liberal lawmaker and agriculture critic. "This cost will be a burden on Canadian shippers, travelers and agriculture producers."

Porous in vast stretches and often invisible, America's 5,500-mile (8,900-km) border with Canada is drawing closer scrutiny after President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper agreed in March to work together on border security.

To finance an expansion in inspectors and other costs, new U.S. entry fees will be imposed, ranging from $5 for every air passenger to $488 per maritime vessel. Trucks will pay $5.25 per crossing and railways will pay $7.50 for each car.

The levies are expected to raise $77 million in the 2006 fiscal year and $78 million in fiscal 2007, the USDA said. This would add 136 agriculture inspectors at land-border crossings and a further 65 inspectors at airports.

"It's a significant concern," said Fred Gaspar, a spokesman for the Air Transport Association of Canada.

He said the new fees will discourage air travelers at a time when prices are already high. People flying to the United States from Canada already pay $60 to $100 in immigration fees and air facility charges on every ticket, he said.

So Bush the Prick has decided that he needs cash.  How to raise it is the problem.  Ok, there really isn't any problem, other than Americans are tired of dishing out cash.  So...no worries...we'll just STEAL SOME MONEY FROM OUR "FRIENDS"!

If you want to visit the U.S., it'll cost you more.  (of course, I cannot see any reason why anyone with a functioning brain cell would want to go anywhere near Yank-land anyway.  the rest of the world is more beautiful, the people are not insane, the air is cleaner, other countries actually have a culture and...did I mention the repugnant arrogant crass people that we love to hate...those damn Yanks?)

So..."bioterrorism" is it?  The health department wants to inspect fruit and vegetables.  A bug on a peach is "bioterrorism"?  Could we back the fucking truck up Bush you insane lying piece of shit?  Could you please stop labelling everything as being linked in some inane way to "terrorism"?

Which is it really...are you going to inspect produce for "health" reasons...or is it that you're afraid of some terrorist slipping a little bug into one of your apples?  You can't mix the two.

And in any case, WHY THE FUCK DOES CANADA HAVE TO FUND YOUR FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY?  Do you not grab enough tax money from your Yank people to fund your government?  Do you really need to steal money from "friends"?  Or is it about creating hype...."oh, look out people...Canada's full of terrorists who want to put a bug in your apple".

I call on Harper to impose an equal "tax" on imports to Canada.  I call on Harper to DOUBLE the amount imposed by the fucking yanks.  Oops...I forgot...(just for a second) that Canada is run by a guy with his nose so far up Bush's ass, that he needs scuba gear to breathe.  It'll never, ever happen folks.  You won't even hear a peep out of the huge fucking wimp.  Admit it Bush you crook....you just need more money to fund your illegal war in Iraq!

One last thing...just to show that this is truly all a pile of steaming dog shit.  Securing the borders?...really?  There are approximately 5000 miles of border with the U.S.  There are actually damn few "border crossing" sites between Canada and the United Shitsville of America.  These sites are manned by Shithead guards.  All well and fine.  But out in the western states, there are hundreds upon hundreds of miles of open land.  You can drive for hours upon hours and not see anything that you could remotely call a town.  You can cross from one country into the other by tank platoon and not be seen with a telescope, the countryside is so vast.

And yet...rest easy Yanks...Georgie is making your country safe....NOT.  You people are so fucking pathetic.  And you wonder why no one has any respect for you?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm...
